fuck film school. your money may get you a placement in the industry but it will be a watered down version of somebody elses idea of creativity. these places are run by people who want you to make films thier way so that they can keep themselves in charge. there are rules at film schools...RULES for fucks sake!! you might be led to beleive your doing your own work but your not, your doing a version of thiers. it's the easy way out. do it yourself and show them up for the sad old has beens that they are. you can do it my friend. we can all do it. hallelujah.

hmmmm....... They also teach you basic composition techniques, provide you with a load of telephone numbers and addresses, and you meet most of the people in the business already that you will need to work with.
They will tell you how to sync sound your film, they will also provide equipment, time and advice. Which I wish I had/have.
Sure there are rules, but rules can be useful at times.
